How credits work on Voidless — why different models and sizes cost different amounts, and how to make your credits go further.
Every generation on Voidless uses credits. Understanding what drives the cost helps you experiment freely and spend efficiently.
Why generations cost credits
Running an AI model uses real compute, and more capable models cost more to run. Credits are how that cost is passed on fairly — a fast pixel-art model is cheap, while a high-end image, 3D or video model costs more per generation.
What affects the cost
- Model. The biggest factor. Lightweight pixel models are cheap; premium image, video and 3D models cost more.
- Output size / length. Larger images, longer videos and higher-detail 3D take more compute.
- Type of task. A quick edit costs less than a full generation from scratch; video and 3D cost more than a single 2D image.
Before you commit, the interface shows the cost of a generation, so there are no surprises.
Making credits go further
- Explore with cheap models. Nail your prompt and composition on a low-cost model first, then switch to a premium model only for the final render.
- Right-size your output. Generate icons at 16×16, not 64×64. Match size to purpose.
- Iterate the prompt, not the model. A better prompt usually fixes a result more cheaply than jumping to a bigger model.
- Reuse assets. Turn one character into animations and variants instead of regenerating from scratch each time.
Topping up
Your plan provides a credit allowance, and you can add more as you scale up production. If you're just learning, the free tier's credits are plenty to try every tool.
The mindset that saves the most: explore cheap, finalize premium. Do your trial-and-error on inexpensive models and only spend on a top-tier model once you know exactly what you want.
